WHAT IS KILN CLUB & WHY IS IT DIFFERENT

Most things in your life are designed to be consumed quickly and forgotten. The Kiln Club is designed for the opposite.

Each month, you receive a small, intentional delivery, tactile, beautiful, designed to be touched and returned to. There is an art print. There is something interactive. There is an invitation to stay with an idea long enough to let it do something.

This is how the kiln works. You don't rush the process. You don't pull the piece before it's ready. You show up, you apply pressure, and then you wait. What emerges is shaped by every step that came before it.

The Kiln Club was built around that logic. Not inspiration you consume once and forget. A slow burn practice. One month at a time.

AN ART PRINT POSTCARD

Each month includes a prompt to examine something in your practice or your life. Not therapy. Not a worksheet. More like a note from someone who has been thinking about you.

AN REFLECTION CARD

Custom designed envelope with a layered vellum reveal, re-creating the art of opening the Kiln. Art you touch, fold, open, or interact with. Made to be held, not just read.

TACTILE CRAFT

Something small to try. A habit to track, a goal to set, a creative challenge to take on. Built around the idea that change doesn't happen through intention alone, it happens through repetition.

Subscribe. Join The Kiln Club and become part of the kinfolk and the ongoing creative practice. Sign up by the 25th of the month, to receive the next month’s mail (ie. sign up by April 25th to receive May’s Kiln Club).

Receive your monthly delivery. Each month, a carefully designed package arrives, art print, letter from the artist, reflection card, and monthly experiment. Everything is beautiful. Everything has a reason.

Interact. Reflect. Return. This is not art you display once and walk past. You are meant to engage with it. Unfold it. Use it. Come back to it. The repetition is the point.

Each month you receive a carefully designed physical delivery that includes an art print, a letter from the artist, a reflection card, and a small creative experiment. Built around the logic of the kiln: transformation happens slowly, through repetition, and every step of the process matters.

  • Each monthly delivery includes: a collectible art print postcard, a tactile interactive paper object (a foldable structure, a layered reveal, something you touch and engage with), a reflection card, and a letter from the artist. Every piece is designed by the BLK Wheelhouse studio.

  • Yes, monthly, auto-renewing. Cancel anytime.

  • Yes. Cancel before your next renewal date, no penalties.

  • Subscriptions are billed automatically each month on the date you originally signed up.

    You can cancel or pause your subscription anytime before your next billing date to avoid additional charges.

  • No. Theme, visual concept, and experiments shift monthly. The quality and intention stay constant.

  • Kiln Club mail ships on the 15th of each month.

    Each delivery is sent via stamped letter mail (no tracking - the old-fashioned way.) Domestic mail typically arrives within 5–10 business days, though timing can vary depending on your local postal service.

  • Kiln Club mail goes out once per month on the 15th.

    Sign up by the 26th of the month to be included in the following month’s delivery.
    For example:

    • Join by May 26 to receive the June mailing

    • Join after May 26 and your first delivery will be July

    This schedule allows time to prepare each month’s edition.

Founded by Gabrielle Jones, the studio creates ceramic objects, storytelling artifacts, and participatory creative systems, work that lives at the intersection of craft, narrative, and personal practice.

The Kiln Club is an extension of that work: a way to bring the logic of the studio into your daily life. The kiln doesn't rush and neither should we.
