Let’s make art together

If something has been sitting with you, a milestone, a name, a story that deserves to take shape, this is where it begins.

  • Not every commission starts from scratch. The studio produces made-to-order pieces for some of the most requested occasions. These pieces follow a set form. You simply personalize them.

    Browse these before reaching out:

Sometimes a commission also begins with an existing piece. For example, you may love a Studio Edition but want to explore a specific glaze that isn’t currently offered or upload a photo.

  • Commissions can take many forms across the studio's wheelhouses — ceramics, fibers, print, illustration, and digital pieces designed for a moment.

    Commissions have included:

Ceramic book vases with custom glaze or artwork (You can explore ceramic examples here.)

Custom glaze explorations when a client wants a glaze outside those offered

Event and celebration pieces such as custom favors, commemorative objects, or installations for weddings, launches, and milestone gatherings

Illustration and printed objects including custom artwork, badges, or graphics used on invitations, packaging, or keepsake boxes

Custom apparel or textiles like T-shirts, embroidered pieces, or fabric-based artifacts tied to a moment or story

  • The form below is just the beginning of the conversation not a final order.

Whether you’re looking for art in the studio’s various wheelhouse - ceramics, traditional, digital - or customized items for an upcoming milestone event, this form will help the studio understand your vision and create something unique for you or a loved one.

Once you submit, the studio will follow up to explore the details together.

  • The more context you bring, the more grounded the work can be. When you fill out the form, try to include:

    • Who the piece is for and the occasion or reason behind it

    • Names, dates, or specific words you'd like incorporated

    • Your timeline — commissions typically require 4–6 weeks; rush timelines may be available depending on scope

    • Budget range (optional, but helpful)

    • Reference images or inspiration, if you have them

    • How you found BLK Wheelhouse

You don't need to have it all figured out. That's what the conversation is for.

Things to Consider

  • Custom artwork can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on the complexity, materials, and current workload. If you need it sooner, please let me know, but rush orders may come with additional fees.

  • Depending on the project, I typically offer 1-2 rounds of revisions. If more changes are needed, additional fees may apply. We will discuss this once the details are finalized.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront, with the remaining balance due upon completion. For larger projects, I offer payment plans—just let me know if you need this option.

  • For physical items, shipping costs will vary depending on location, size, and materials. I will provide an estimate once we finalize the details.

  • Once work has started, cancellations are not accepted. Please ensure you are fully committed before submitting your request.

The design was bold, vibrant, and perfectly captured the essence of our trip—it was more than just a t-shirt, it was a statement of our unity and joy.
